An Ellipse is the set of all points whose sum from two fixed points is constant

A Race Track

A track is an oval-like shape, similar to an ellipse.  There are four turns that  go only one way.  There are two fixed points and the sum from those points is constant. A race course  is used at schools to run and can be used for profesional running events.

A Badminton Racket

This racket is used for a sport called badminton. This sport is similar to tennis exept the rackets are smaller and the object that gets hit is a birdie.  The birdie is hit with the face of the racket, which has a resemblence to an ellipse.
