A Guitar

Look at the guitar on the right. Do you see a hyperbola? No? Look closer... at the place where the outside of the guitar dips in. Those dips help make the sound of a guitar echo. But they can also be looked at as hyperbolas, being that they have the same shape and go in opposite directions.

A Dog Nose

Dogs can be seen anywhere; walking with their owners, playing in the park, or being in someone's house. The inner curves of a dog nose looks like a perfect hyperbola.  This can be seen in any dog, not matter what shape or size.

A Hyperbola is the set of all points whose difference from two fixed points is constant.
